Mason G. Macnoll, MBA

Mason G. Macnoll joined CPX Energy in 2023 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining CPX, Mason spent 3.5 years at Foundation Energy Management, a private, institutionally backed direct energy operator in Dallas, TX.  In his role as Vice President of Finance & Investor Relations, he was responsible for the firm’s financial planning, limited partner communications/reporting, risk management program and banking relationships.  Prior to Foundation Energy Management, Mason spent 6 years working for Merit Energy Company in Dallas, Texas, where he held multiple positions in both a financial analyst and crude/natural gas marketing capacity.

Mason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University, where he was a Big 12 scholarship athlete as member of the Texas Tech baseball program.  Additionally, he obtained his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Southern Methodist University, where he was named a Kyle D. Miller Energy Scholar. Mason is a member of the Dallas Petroleum Club.
